Hermes Rent A Car - General Conditions

Age requirement: For groups A – B minimum age 23,for groups  C-D-D1-F-G minimum ages 25 years, for groups E- K  27 years old.

Driver’s license: A valid driving license held for at least two years is required .

Gasoline: Gasoline consumption is payable by the renter.

Taxes: 19% V.A.T.

Traffic fines: Tickets and attached administrative sanctions resulting from any violation of the Greek Traffic Law during rental period are worn solely by the renter.

Collision Damage Waiver (C.D.W) – INCLUDED !

The Renter has limited his liability for damage to the vehicle to ( A, B, C, D, D1, F, G: 300€  E, K: 5OO € ) by obtaining Collision Damage Waiver insurance. Provided that collision damages are not due to violations of the Greek Traffic Law. Damages caused to the inside and underside of the car,the wheels and the tires, are not covered by any insurance. It is forbidden that the car be used on non asphalt coated  roads.

Full Damage Waiver (F.D.W.)

The Renter can exempt himself from all liabilities by obtaining Full Damage Waiver and paying 5€ per day of rental, provided that collision damages are not due to violations of the Greek Traffic Law. Damages caused to the inside and underside of the car, the wheels and the tires, are not covered by any insurance. . It is forbidden that the car be used on non asphalt coated  roads.

Theft waiver (T.W.) - INCLUDED !

Third party public liability, fire and property damage insurance –INCLUDED

FERRYING OF THE CAR - It is forbidden to take the car out of the island.
